Life can be overwhelming, and when it is, it’s easy to feel like your spark is fading. At Ember Care, our purpose is to be here in those moments, offering space to breathe, regroup, and rebuild.
We provide personalised NDIS support that adapts to your life, not the other way around. For us, that means more than just care. It means creating emotional safety, offering practical help, and encouraging you to live life in ways that feel right for you.

Ember Care was born out of a deeply personal experience of grief that revealed how important it is to have support in life’s hardest seasons. From that time, I felt called to comfort others in their struggles and to create a safe space where every person knows their worth.
As I grew older, I came to see how many people silently live with invisible illnesses and difficult life experiences. It became clear that my purpose was to stand with them—to build a place where people feel seen, valued, and supported. Ember Care was founded in 2019 as an outworking of that calling, built on the belief that when someone’s flame feels like it’s fading, there should always be people nearby to help rekindle it.
When I met my husband, Taulia, one of the first things he told me was that he wanted to be a youth worker. I remember thinking, how perfect—his vision fits right in with mine. Since then, he has studied and grown into this calling, and together we have discovered that Ember Care is more than just my personal mission—it is God’s call for both of our lives. We believe we are here to look beyond ourselves and serve our community, fostering a place where people feel loved and know their inherent worth.
Our shared passion is to walk alongside people with warmth and genuine connection, offering hope and reminding each person of their value. Out of this commitment, we are also establishing a not-for-profit organisation, Embracing Youth & Community Care (EYCC), to reach those who may not be eligible for the NDIS. Through Ember Care and EYCC, our vision is to nurture communities where people feel supported, connected, and valued, and where everyone has a safe space to grow and flourish—regardless of disability, background, or circumstance.

Ember Care exists because we saw the gaps in traditional support. Too often, people are treated like problems to solve instead of individuals with stories that deserve to be heard.
My husband Taulia and I built Ember Care to be different. We’ve brought together a team who believes that good support starts with listening, especially when the words are hard to find. It’s showing kindness when the world feels heavy. It’s sticking with you when things get tough.

When we dreamed of Ember Care, we pictured a place where people who felt overlooked could finally feel seen. The name “Ember” reminds us that even when life feels dark, there is always a spark inside you. Our role is to protect that spark, nurture it, and help it grow stronger.
