At Ember Care, our NDIS support services in South Eastern Melbourne are here to meet you where you are, to understand what matters most, and to provide care that helps you live with confidence and dignity.
I began Ember Care because I saw too many people feeling overlooked, treated like they were just part of a system instead of being understood as people. I wanted to create something different: a place where you can feel safe, listened to, and supported in ways that truly make a difference.
Our NDIS support services in South Eastern Melbourne are never one‑size‑fits‑all. We take the time to learn what feels right for you, what gives you a sense of safety, and what you want your life to look like. Then we work with you to build support that feels personal, practical, and truly your own.
Daily tasks can feel overwhelming at times, and that’s where we can step in. Whether it’s personal care, preparing meals, or keeping your home organised, our support is shaped around what works best for you. We’ll work with you to make home life feel safe, comfortable, and manageable.
Appointments, social outings, or community events: getting there shouldn’t be a source of stress. We provide safe, reliable transport so you can get where you need to be with ease. With our NDIS support services in South Eastern Melbourne, you’ll have someone who cares about making the journey as simple and comfortable as possible.
Life feels richer when you can connect with others. We support you to take part in community activities, meet new people, and explore spaces where you can feel welcome. Whether it’s joining a group, attending an event, or trying something new, we’ll support you in a way that feels safe and right for you.
The NDIS can be complicated, but you don’t have to figure it out on your own. Our support coordination helps you make sense of your plan, connect with the right services, and make choices that reflect what’s important to you. It’s about making the system work for you, not the other way around.
We provide access to therapeutic supports like psychology, speech therapy, occupational therapy, and physiotherapy. These services are designed to help you work through challenges, build new skills, and improve your overall wellbeing. Our NDIS support services in South Eastern Melbourne make it easier to get the care you need in one safe and supportive environment.
Work can bring purpose, connection, and independence. We help you prepare for employment, develop job skills, and find opportunities that match your strengths. We’ll be there to guide you through applications, interviews, and settling into a role that feels right for you.
Relationships can be life‑changing, but they can also be challenging. We help you build social skills, navigate tricky situations, and feel more confident in how you connect with others. It’s about creating safe, supportive ways to strengthen the relationships that matter most to you.
Sometimes it’s not just about having support — it’s about learning the skills that help you feel confident on your own. We can guide you through practical things like cooking a meal, budgeting your money, or using public transport safely. These everyday tools can open up new opportunities and make life feel more manageable. With patient support and encouragement, we’ll practise alongside you until it feels natural and achievable.
Children deserve a strong foundation for their future. Our Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) services support social, emotional, and developmental growth in ways that are safe, family‑friendly, and tailored to your child’s needs.
Sometimes we just need someone to listen. Our qualified social workers provide counselling in a safe, supportive environment where you can explore challenges, process emotions, and find strategies for moving forward.
Starting support can bring up a lot of questions and that’s completely normal. Here are some simple answers to help you feel more confident about reaching out.
We offer a mix of practical and therapeutic support, depending on what’s most helpful for you. That includes help with daily tasks, transport, community activities, counselling, therapy options, and even support with things like job readiness or building relationships. We also work with families of young children through Early Childhood Early Intervention.
We support people who are plan-managed or self-managed under the NDIS. We also welcome private clients for counselling. Most of the people we work with live with psychosocial or developmental disabilities, but every story is unique. We always take time to listen and understand what’s right for you.
Not yet. At this stage, we work with participants who are either self-managed or plan-managed. We’re happy to chat about how that works if you’re unsure.
Both. Depending on your needs, we can support you with things like cooking, budgeting, or getting to appointments, or help connect you with therapy services like speech, psychology, or OT. We also provide counselling ourselves, through our social workers.
We support people from early childhood through to older adulthood, but we’re especially passionate about working with young people and their families. We currently support participants from age 4 to 70.
We work across the South Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne. If you’re not sure whether we come to your area, just reach out and we’ll let you know.
Absolutely. My background includes training in ministry and theology, so if faith is important to you or your family, we can gently and respectfully include that in the way we support you. It’s always your choice.
Ember Care was born out of my deep passion to help others. After walking through my own challenges with grief and mental health, I knew I wanted to create something more human: a space where people feel safe, cared for, and never just a ‘case’. We’re a small team, but everything we do is built on heart, integrity, and connection.
If you’ve been searching for care that feels personal, safe, and meaningful, you’ve found it. Our NDIS support services in South Eastern Melbourne are here to make life feel a little lighter and more manageable, whatever your needs. When you’re ready, we’ll take the time to listen and work with you to build support that feels right for you.
